Planning and calculations
Station selection, dates, times, passenger counts, Railcard reminder and flexibility stay in the page until you explicitly save a journey. The calculator and quote-notepad amounts are not saved. We do not upload your entries or call a third-party search API.
Saved trips
Save journey writes up to 20 plans into this browser’s localStorage. Plans may include travel dates and a Railcard type; avoid saving on a shared device if you do not want other users of the browser profile to see them. Remove a trip from Saved trips; Undo is available on that page until you leave. Site-data clearing or private browsing may remove plans. There is no cloud backup or cross-device sync.
When you open a saved trip, sessionStorage holds its details briefly to transfer them into the planner, then the transfer copy is removed. An invalid saved-data format is left untouched rather than overwritten. There is no automatic expiry job.
Copying and external links
Copy journey writes the summary to your clipboard only when you click it. Your browser or operating system may maintain clipboard history. External links open a new tab without sending a referrer or automatically transferring your plan. Anything you enter on a provider’s site is governed by its privacy notice and terms.
Technical delivery
The station reference JSON and page assets are served by our hosting through Cloudflare. Hosting and Cloudflare may keep ordinary technical/security logs such as IP address, URL and request time. No analytics, advertising pixels, affiliate trackers, third-party JavaScript or application cookies are installed by this version. We do not request GPS, microphone or camera access.
